Join our international Cyber Defense Center and help us to develop a Threat Information Platform that processes, enriches and distributes Indicators of Compromise at scale.
Are you starting your career in cybersecurity and eager to work with real-world threat intelligence data? The international Cyber Defense Center of Deutsche Telekom is looking for a junior engineer to contribute to projects around our Threat Information Sharing Platform (TISP). In this role, you will work with IoC ingestion pipelines, enrichment and vetting services, and API-based threat intelligence tooling, supported by an experienced team. Responsibilities
- Contribute to development and maintenance of TISP platform components and API services
- Support ingestion, vetting and enrichment workflows for Indicators of Compromise (IoC)
- Assist with onboarding of new data sources
- Help maintain and improve documentation for TISP services and internal workflows
- Collaborate with SOC, CERT and threat intelligence teams across national companies
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Bash, or Go
- Basic knowledge of computer networking and fundamental network protocols
- Understanding of SQL
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Proficiency in English
Nice to have experience
- Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with search and analytics platforms such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud environments; Google Cloud Platform is a plus
