What to expect

  • you will be responsible for ensuring orders of MRO (maintenance, repair, operations) equipment and items according to the needs of production as well as other departments – from standard requests to highly specific items
  • you will communicate and negotiate with suppliers via email, phone, and in person. Together you will fine‑tune prices, service rates, price lists, or project‑related items and agree on related commercial terms
  • we work closely across the company – you will be in contact with colleagues from technical and support teams, help clarify technical parameters, and support the smooth progress of the internal purchasing process
  • you will participate in preparing and evaluating tenders and work with data for reports (Excel, PowerPoint, internal systems – Vaatz, SAP, Autoway)
  • daily communication in English (both written and spoken) is a natural part of the job but a very good knowledge of the Czech language is required for communication to production and with some suppliers
  • you will have space to plan your own work and set priorities – with the support of experienced colleagues who will be happy to train you.

What you need

  • university degree, ideally in economics (but we are open to other fields)
  • English and Czech at a level that allows you to communicate comfortably with suppliers and colleagues
  • ability to organize your work well and handle multiple tasks at once – we will support you in setting the right priorities
  • good user-level knowledge of Excel
  • proactive approach, responsibility, and a willingness to learn new things
  • orientation in SAP, knowledge of Incoterms, or experience in purchasing is an advantage, but not a requirement.
