For our international team, we are looking for a Governance/Compliance Azure Specialist with a strong security background. The role will support security assessment processes and the governance of Telekom projects involving (not only) the Azure-based services, as well as contribute to current security requirements applied to Deutsche Telekom environment. The position is based in Prague, and the Specialist will be responsible for providing technical security support for international projects within the Deutsche Telekom Group. This is not a delivery or operational role, but a security assurance and governance position, working closely with project teams, architects, and stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who feels confident in Microsoft technologies and/or Cloud technologies with a general understanding of governance and policies related to security best practices. To support product development by ensuring compliance with security requirements, experience with project assessment and governance is needed. Definition and review of security best practices on Microsoft technologies and Azure will be performed regularly. We are looking for someone who will not hesitate to engage in researching how to connect new technology for our benefit. Getting things done and solving problems with the team are essential to the team culture.
Responsibilities
- Security reviews of projects within the internal Security assessment process
- Advisory support to projects from a security and compliance perspective
- Assessment of architectures and designs involving Microsoft and cloud technologies (e.g. Power Apps, Windows OS, Azure environment)
- Definition, review, and enforcement of internal security requirements for Microsoft-based solutions
- Identification, assessment, and documentation of security risks, including support of risk acceptance processes
- Governance of security testing activities, evaluation of test results, and tracking of findings
- Contribution to the development of security best practices and standards within the Deutsche Telekom environment

Hard Skills
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of security topics
- Good understanding of Microsoft technologies and cloud environments (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, Windows OS)
- Experience with security governance, policies, or compliance frameworks
- Experience with risk assessment, vulnerability management, or security analysis
