The Business Process Lead (BPL) is an integral function within the Power Technique business area, responsible for overseeing and optimizing business processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with strategic goals. The BPL acts as the bridge between the various ERP programs, the finance Hubs and operations, facilitating communication, and ensuring that processes are streamlined and contribute to the overall success of Power Technique.
Key Responsibilities
Process Management
- Process Design and Improvement: Develop and implement process frameworks, identifying areas for enhancement and execute strategies aimed at optimizing workflows.
- Process Documentation: Create detailed documentation of processes, including flowcharts, manuals, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Process Optimization. Strive to develop process efficiency throughout the organization.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks within processes and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Technology Integration: Work with IT teams to integrate technological solutions that enhance process performance and data management.
- Reporting: Generate reports on process performance, highlighting successes and areas for further improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure processes align with business objectives and support realization of synergies.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to employees on process-related tools and methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives and ensure smooth transitions through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure that the stakeholders have a clear understanding of the mission, vision and identity of the business process organization.
- Collaboration with the various divisions, the various hubs and ERP programs.
- Environment: Given the global nature o the job and organization, the job typically will require regular travel to other company locations, mainly Belgium.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in process management are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in process management, business analysis, or related roles.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and develop practical solutions.
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to oversee process improvement projects.
- Data Analysis: Capability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions and improve process performance.
- Certifications: Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Management, or other process improvement methodologies are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership qualities to motivate and guide teams towards achieving process optimization goals
