As the Intercompany Product Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of intercompany reconciliation strategies. You will collaborate with various business areas—including finance, legal, and IT—to ensure consistent execution, communication, and compliance of intercompany processes and to identify opportunities for improvement.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Support the implementation of the intercompany reconciliation and payment strategy as defined by leadership, ensuring alignment with Black Marlin Project goals and objectives.
· Communicate strategy updates, process changes, and compliance requirements clearly to relevant stakeholders.
· Oversee and monitor the consistency of compliance with international, corporate, and business laws, as well as internal policies (“The Way We Do Things”).
· Advise on best practices in intercompany reconciliation, payment instruction flows, and treasury operations, acting as a resource for process questions and improvement suggestions.
· Analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend new approaches or solutions to leadership.
· Explore and propose new methods or technologies to enhance intercompany processes, acting as an advisor and opportunity scout.
· Ensure accurate and timely reporting of compliance and process consistency issues to management.
· Assist in crisis situations by providing recommendations and supporting the implementation of corrective actions, rather than making final decisions.
· Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the dissemination of best practices and industry trends within the group.
Qualifications
· Solid knowledge of intercompany reconciliation processes.
· Working knowledge of global payment instruction flows and treasury operations.
· Awareness of international, corporate, and business law as it relates to intercompany transactions.
· Strong analytical skills and ability to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
· Experience supporting project management activities.
· Effective communication skills and ability to foster positive working relationships across teams.
· Proactive approach to identifying and exploring new opportunities for process improvement.
