A Day in the Life (What You’ll Do)
- Research, design, develop, and validate invasive products (catheters, introducers).
- Build prototypes; design & assemble test fixtures; write test methods; run DOEs; analyze data to guide iterations.
- Collaborate with colleagues across BTL—Engineering, quality, manufacturing, and purchasing; support supplier qualification and incoming inspection.
- Work with external suppliers and the purchasing team to ensure components meet requirements.
- Perform calculations and analyses (tolerance stacks, strength/fatigue, thermal/reflow windows)
- Support pilot builds and manufacturing transfers; troubleshoot transfer issues and lead root-cause/corrective actions.
- Document work in protocols, reports, DHF records, and lab notebooks; contribute to regulatory deliverables and timelines.

Your Profile
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a proactive mindset.
- Quick to learn, open-minded, precise, and adaptable to change.
- A degree in Mechanical / Biomechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Material Engineering, or Medical Device Development.
- Ability to communicate in English (Czech is a strong advantage, as our team works in a Czech–English environment).
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of engineering materials, component selection, and design for reliability and manufacturability.
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Understanding of coronary and vascular anatomy, physiology, and model development (a big plus).
- Previous experience with medical devices.
- Hands-on project work in a team setting.
