Deutsche Telekom’s Technology Delivery International (TDI) is the internal service delivery organization for National Operator Customers. Within TDI, the Automation & Orchestration Platform (AOP) Tribe is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager (TPM) to drive the strategy, delivery, and adoption of Data & OSS solutions across the organization. Data & OSS are foundational capabilities that contribute significantly to enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the strategic goals of TDI.

The TPM will play a critical role in advancing the organization’s business objectives through efficient and high-quality product delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong ownership and accountability, independently managing the Data & OSS domain.

What you will do

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and implement the Data & OSS strategy for TDI and DT’s EU Segment NatCos under the guidance of the AOP Tribe Leader and respective TSO Tribe Leaders.
  • Assume technical ownership of areas including:
    • Service Assurance
    • MLOPS Platform
    • Data Platform
    • Observability Platform

User-Centric Backlog Ownership

  • Gather requirements for Service Assurance, Data Platform, Service Monitoring, and MLOPS from DT’s EU Segment NatCos in close collaboration with the COME (Common Operating Model Europe) program.
  • Actively market existing tools and solutions within the Data & OSS domain to enhance visibility and drive adoption.

Delivery & Enablement

  • Create a roadmap for the implementation of Data & OSS strategies across relevant segments.
  • Drive common product development activities within the assigned domain area.
  • Manage high-level backlog oversight, including prioritization and ROI calculations for Data & OSS tool/product development.
  • Collaborate with assigned Product Owners to break down high-level EPICs into actionable User Stories, Tasks, and define clear acceptance criteria.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership

  • Serve as the technical Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Data & OSS towards external stakeholders.
  • Work in close coordination with other TDI TSOs, Telekom Deutschland (TDG), and Group Technology teams to propel the Data & OSS strategy across various entities.
  • Engage with vendors to evaluate their latest developments and explore potential automation solutions.

Required knowledge and skills

  • Strong background in Telco Operations is essential.
  • Existing experience in Data Engineering is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in Product Management, particularly within technical domains.
  • Highly developed sense of ownership and accountability for work.
  • Excellent communication skills with a solid ability in both written and verbal presentation (in English).
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to define and evaluate alternatives, breaking high-level goals into specific project tasks.
