About the role

We are looking for a skilled and self-driven expert to join our Compensation & Benefits team within the Vacuum Technique Business Area (VTBA).

The role is reporting directly to Compensation & Benefit Manager EMEA/US, you will take the lead on key initiatives such as the implementation of a new job architecture and the advancement of pay equity and transparency across the VTBA organization.

You will be responsible for managing complex compensation processes and benchmarking activities and have the opportunity to support and occasionally lead regional and global compensation projects and initiatives.

Your expertise will also be instrumental in identifying opportunities to streamline and automate workflows and driving continuous improvement in area of C&B

 

What will you be doing?

  • Lead key project activities related to the implementation of a Group-wide job architecture, acting as VTBA’s subject matter expert and representative.
  • Conduct global pay equity analysis and ensure readiness for evolving pay transparency legislation.
  • Manage job evaluations and benchmarking, leveraging IPE and Mercer methodology to ensure internal consistency and external competitiveness.
  • Run annual compensation cycles, including salary reviews and variable compensation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth system operations.
  • Support M&A compensation activities, ensuring alignment of terms and effective transition support.
  • Drive process improvement and automation, in partnership with HR Digitalization & Process Improvement teams.
  • Contribute to total rewards strategy, including regional/global initiatives, recognition programs, and special studies.
  • Ensure data integrity and reporting excellence within SuccessFactors (HR Link), Compensation module, and dashboards.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree+ in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation & benefits, ideally in a global/matrix organization
  • Strong analytical, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of benchmarking surveys (Mercer, Radford) and job evaluation methodology (IPE as an advantage)
  • Experience with a job architecture
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality and cultural sensitivity
  • Willingness to travel a few times per year
