Mission
Your mission in the role of Director of B2C Growth will be to develop strategies to enhance customer engagement and increase direct shopping on Heureka, where 25 million users visit every month. Drive initiatives to boost customer traffic and conversion, leveraging our platform’s offering of 55,000 e-shops. Create an exceptional experience that turns visitors into loyal customers. You won’t be managing a direct team, but as a leader, you’ll have the unique opportunity to guide and collaborate with dedicated people across company.
What will be your main responsibilities:
- Communicate the strategic vision and goals across the company for the assigned B2C stream, guiding the direction of our customer-focused initiatives.
- Prioritise initiatives of functional teams and manage the complete backlog to ensure we always work on what matters the most.
- Support the creation of departmental plans to meet business and customer requirements, ensuring we’re always aligned with our strategic objectives.
- Lead and when it's needed facilitate discussions, foster cross-team cooperation, and promote knowledge-sharing to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Monitor stream performance to ensure we hit our company OKRs and budget.
- Regularly report progress and escalate challenges to Group Management, ensuring transparency and accountability at all levels.
- Resolve cross-functional obstacles to ensure the delivery of value for the B2C stream.
- Consistently evaluate customer and merchant satisfaction to ensure an exceptional and seamless experience.
- Lead and inspire teams as an influencer and stream leader, without the routine task of approving timesheets.
- Provide insights on market trends and competition behaviour to keep us ahead of the curve.
- Run retrospectives and feedback loops to refine our approach continually.
- Participate in budgeting and business case building to ensure financial alignment.
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a Senior leadership or managerial role.
- Strong background in eCommerce, SaaS product development, or related fields.
- Experience with portfolio/program management and Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with market trends and competitive analysis in a digital environment.
- Agile and customer-centric mindset, with a hands-on attitude.
- Self-starter mindset with a passion for innovation and driving change.
- Experience in people leadership with a track record of managing cross-functional teams will be advantageous.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to get things done.
- Passion for new technologies and their implementation into operations processes.
- Business acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Ability to communicate with anyone from top management to any team member.
- Proficiency in English (C1 level).
