We are seeking a new member to join our team as a Complaints Manager, working closely with our UK clients and partners.

What will be your role?

  • Provide excellent vendor communication while mitigating the impact of complaints and other compliance risk on our business
  • Take ownership of complaints handling process and policy within the company
  • Be a contact person for the UK’s Financial Ombudsman Service as well as for Fortegra’s partners in handling complaints
  • Investigate and assess escalated complaints and provide in-depth analysis of complaint root cause
  • Regularly monitor complaints reports from Fortegra’s partners and provide feedback to them where necessary

You might be a perfect fit, if you:

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in working with insurance companies or in the industry, especially from the claims handling point of view, and are familiar with the UK FCA complaints process.
  • You are fluent in English and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You behave objectively in the execution of responsibilities, treating customers fairly, and take initiative with a positive attitude towards work, including "rolling up sleeves" where necessary.
  • You have strong Excel skills.
